Rosalynn Carter Health and Human Science Complex is phase 1 of 2 for Georgia Southwestern University in Americus, GA. The building will house state-of-the-art classrooms, clinical space for the School of Nursing, the University Health Center, and a wonderful display portraying Mrs. Carter's lifetime commitment to caregiving and advocating for mental health awareness.
The facility has an architectural precast entry of columns, base water table and inscribed entablature and cornice. The remainder of the building is a brick façade with cast stone bands and sills. Internally, the grand staircase has precast stair treads. Images from 2WR.
