1,270 pieces - Acid Etch Architectural Precast and Cast Stone
Architect: Blondheim & Mixon Architects Eufaula, AL
General Contractor: Conner Brothers Construction, Auburn, AL
Completion Date: August 2003

Auburn University Poultry Science Building was a challenging architectural precast project because of the shear number of unique pieces and the building’s entry gable. The entry gable was a handmade sculpted clay gable that required Miller-Mize to create a special rubber tool from the full scale sculpture. Using the rubber negative and wooden support tooling, the gable fascia was cast. From the larger image, the gable and the gable end can be seen as it is removed from the tool from our plant.
