The New Residence Hall was completed and was opened for fall semester of 2010. The building is an integration of calcium silicate masonry blocks below the 1st level and architectural precast, brick, metal panels and curtain walls completing the façade. Miller-Mize had to define and coordinate hundreds of embeds to be casted into the flooring to provide mounting for the large spandrel panels and entry cornice and soffits. Other precast features are the 2nd and 5th floor continuous bands and parapet caps with chimney tops at the gables.
