The National Infantry Museum's Grand Opening in June 2009 was a ceremonious event that had some very high brass individuals in attendance. Located in Columbus, GA, at the Main Entry of Ft Benning, GA, the National Infantry Museum has something for all ages including a gift shop, a restaurant, an indoor shooting range, parade grounds, and an IMAX Theater.

The Museum project consisted of more than 900 pieces of both precast and cast stone. Finely etched precast cornice can be seen completely surrounding the 190,000 square foot building. The same quality precast is used in the structure of the rotunda entablature and the building parapet is constructed with both precast and cast stone produced by Miller-Mize Precast.

The front wall that guards the Museum is called the “Force Wall”. Miller-Mize produced the Cast Stone Caps for this entry wall. The Force Wall can be seen in the foreground of the above picture.

The National Infantry Parade Ground and Stadium is now the location for all infantry graduation and other celebrations at Ft. Benning. Miller-Mize produced the cast stone for the stadium and its surrounding landscape walls.
